FOLLOW THESE STEPS:
1. Get the GATE syllabus for the course you have applied.
*2. Start studying the subjects from the "Standard" books.
*3. After studying the course get the last 10 years GATE papers and solve them.
4. Focus on main topics and overcome your weakness.
5. Solve your doubts.
*6. Start solving back questions of Standard books.
7. Revise the syllabus again.
P.S: Make notes while studying the subjects, this will increase your understanding and will help you in revising the syllabus.
